Certifications

Certifications are all about that nice and comfortable feeling of security. You’re in good hands here at LE!

Is there a difference between them – 100% but kinda still the same. Each film manufacturer has its own pros and cons. Avery does not lay the same as 3M. Some jobs will require a higher tack rather than something that’ll be removed 6 months down the line.

3M preferred

Avery Dennison (CWI)

Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installers (CWI) represent the highest standards of professionalism and skill in the wrap industry.

“To become an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer (CWI), installers must pass the Avery Dennison certification test, completing the hands-on portion of the exam using MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS™ with DOL 1360, Supreme Wrapping Film or a combination of the two. The 2015 tests are held following the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film Workshops and are made up of five modules: written exam, hood, fender, door/window and a cutting test. Justin Pate and Avery Dennison representatives administer the test.”

Arlon Wrapitright

Color change certification

“The WrapItRight Certification from Arlon is designed to train installers on the best practices of car wrapping. Over our 50+ years in the automotive graphics industry, we’ve learned that installation expertise is not something that you can just study and instantly know. Instead, expertise comes from actually getting hands on experience with a variety of jobs and situations. Each wrap will have some unique challenges and an installers job is to be the problem solver on each and every wrap.”
